- Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park
Come to Bali to view the 60 ft hectare Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park devoted to God Vishnu and his mount Garuda. The great part is the construction of this gigantic statue is still ongoing; till now, Lord Vishnu’s upper body, hands, and Garuda’s had been completed. The beautiful statue of Vishnu is being designed by a Balinese artist named Nyoman Nuarta.

Trunyan people have a unique open burial process of dealing with dead bodies. They never buried or cremated the corpses. When the dead bodies become distorted, the skull is reposed on a tree named Taru Meyan. This burial process is centuries old.
